I love chatting about how our cookware works, why it breaks and when can be repaired, with some asides about food or the history of coppersmith apprenticeships on the side for flavor. Most of my episodes center on questions about cookware, from how the rivets work, to how to season stainless steel pans, to the best ways to clean copper cookware exteriors. From heating quandaries and ruined linings to to…well, rivets, I discuss your concerns, offer cooking solutions, and deliver more than enough foodie trivia to last you through the next dinner party.

Have a burning question on whether your copper pot is vintage, new, or super old? Host Sara gives you an overview of some pretty obvious ways--and some lesser known tricks--to determine the average age of your copper cookware. From handles to seamwork, there's some great ways to figure out how old your piece is just by looking at it!

With an old-school apprenticeship under my belt (you know, the kind where you work for years and don't get paid except in knowledge), a lot of custom cookware builds using traditional smithing tools, and way too much history crammed into my head, I like to share it all with anyone willing to learn. Rivets...say what?

This is because I myself don't have much time...I mean, I listen to podcasts only when I'm hand polishing cookware, so...
