An author and metalsmith who started her own heirloom cookware business, Sara Dahmen is also a self-described history geek who is putting her expertise into a new series of six books.

While working on a historical novel a few years ago, Dahmen began researching cookware and kitchens of the time period. Being a hands-on type of person, she found a mentor who was working with metals in West Bend and learned to make her own pieces. Read More.
